Ummm hmmm... wait a minute.. let's see... Perron has oh... wait he has 29 Goals and 34 Assists totaling 63 points. Stepan has only scored 20 goals once in his career and has 16 goals and 39 assist for a total of 55 points this year. Perron also outscored Stepan last year in goals with 28 with the EDMONTON OILERS and matched Stepan's point. Perron is still 26. I do not know what you guys are smoking but I really want some! - Kittyblender1
You on crack son. If you think Perron is better than Stepan you best put the pipe down. |

Hornqvist quietly had a career year. only 2 points back from his career high, while missing 18 games. |

No surprise. Nashville didn't score as much and they didn't have great centers. This trade will pay dividends starting tonight. I have this disturbing sense of calm and confidence about this series. I think 87/71 and Johnston quiet a lot of critics. Could just be indigestion tho |

I think Crosby and Malkin will be as up for this series as any series ever. But they're going to need to play on some new level to lead them through this. |

haha, fair enough. He did play those games for a very conservative Nashville team. Just saying, it's not like he's been stuck on Atlanta/Winnipeg his whole career. - jmatchett383
Its pretty well known that one of the perceived issues with past teams was that they had too many pure shooters like Neal and not enough guys like Hornquivst who would plant themselves in the goalies kitchen. Hopefully others will follow his example.
And as much as they will miss Letang in most cases, in some ways it may be to their advantage on the PP if Erhoff and Pouiliot can play at some point. Letang is fantastic at a great many things, but running the PP IMHO has never been one of them. |

I have said to everybody that would listen that i wouldn't be surprised or shocked if the Penguins flipped a switch and made a deep playoff run. This season has been so different that the past few seasons, where the Penguins coasted through the regular season without much friction. |

Dominic Moore has more goals in his last 6 games than half your team does combined in their last 18. - rangerdanger94
So does Ovechken... what does either have to do with the comparison YOU set up?
Oh, nothing. You already were wrong after 2 posts and failed at a subject change. |

I expect them too. Like I said it's strange that I feel this way with the task in front of us. I'll probably have a different opinion tomorrow ha ha |

I thought we were talking about how useless half you team has been? I don't see how I was wrong? |

They tanked down the stretch just to change it up ha ha.
Looks like Adams is scratched 👍 |

No, this was a comparison to their worth vs Glass... You list skewed samples sizes to make Glass's season goal total equal or better to them in smaller sizes. When, if you take their whole season, they are higher, or cost less cap wise than Glass for equal results.
Then you throw out Moore to beat them, which is outside the argument.
Starting to think you're just an idiot. |

I said you guys have been calling Perron useless for a month.
You said you guys have been calling everyone on your team useless for a month.
I said they are.
You said Glass is more useless.
I said yes he is but not by that much and posted stats to show how useless your team has been. |

I said yes he is but not by that much and posted stats to show how useless your team has been... When you took Glass' entire season to a subset of part of ours.
I pray you don't work in any data or statistical field... what you are doing is near high treason and is making me cringe. |

But you admit half your team has been useless for at least 18 games, some for over 60, right? |

As long as you admit that Glass is useless for 82, same as Adams and Lapierre, but Glass costs about the same as both for ours (factored Lap's partial season here).
And no, hits don't make him useful, hes only got 30 more hits than Adams, which sounds so sad for both typing that. |

Glass is useless offensively. He PKs though and you won't find many Rangers fans criticizing his game since the trade deadline as I've said in the Rangers blog. |

Adams and Lap PK too, far too often because we're the Penguins >_>
all three are still useless. |

You keep bringing up that Glass makes double Adams. If you want to talk skewing a number to make a point, look no further than that statement. While it's accurate, it also makes it sound much worse than it really is. He's making 750k more than either of them I believe, while you try to make it sound like Glass is on a Clarkson-like contract. |

If it's continually going back and forth, wouldn't it be a well played game of ping pong??? |
