Did you go to Flyers' Cleanout Day? If so, got any autographs?

So here we are again a year after the 2014 series and I will ask this question: given the Rangers tactics in the last series of running, slashing, and generally mugging Crosby at every turn (this is known in some circles as playing tough playoff hockey), should the Penguins reciprocate this year by running King Henrik at every opportunity? I don't expect the Rangers to do anything differently than what they found successful last year. Perhaps the Pens should employ some of the same tactics as an underdog that have been so often used against them? It seems that the NHL condones this sort of thing, especially in the playoffs, so would it be worth it to plow over King Henrik in the first 2 minutes, even if it meant taking an interference penalty to do so? I hate to even go down this route, but going the hack and whack, trap it up route might be their best bet in the series...when in Rome, as the saying goes...

You can't touch Hank without some dramatic fall or crash. But I would expect some counter measures. Horny being the x factor. I imagine he will take a beating if that stuff doesn't get called this series.

I'd expect LaPierre to get some type of agitator role on someone....if he actually sees the ice. The Rags were the team to run over Price, so you can expect Flower to take some hits. Might as well hit the King too.

Why not? The Pens felt fine literally murdering Mason before last year's playoffs, might as well keep the murder train a-rollin'.

I'm all for it.

Hornqvist better be sitting on Henrietta all series. And Downie had better put Staal into the seventh row.

Hornqvist will have a broken jaw if he comes within 3 feet of Hank's crease.

Well, why didn't you say so?! Welcome to the boards, brother! How is your day been going so far? The weather sure is nice, right? About time for this spring to arrive.

Just a suggestion since you are a relative newbie here. Just because someone from an enemy camp comes here, it does not make them a troll. There are plenty of those to go around, but guys like Jmatch and Bullies have been posting here a long time, and are almost always respectful (when they aren't we give them the hose or burn them at the stake, depending on our mood)....so before yinz go into attack mode, make sure someone is actually behaving like a douche.

You act as if Crosby wasn't slew footing and spearing Rangers that entire series.

Sorry. I let my standard slip. A guy from Philly played a punk show in Edmonton last night and I had to be up with a child at 6am. Parenthood is tough on 30 year old punks.

I've never said or tried to imply I root for a team full of choir boys. Nor have I said what the Rangers did last year was an evil, terrible thing. They merely took all the rope the NHL gives teams in terms of abusing star players and then some, and more power to them. It worked to a "T". I'm simply proposing its time the Pens really get down in the dirt with everyone else.
