Great lock down third period minus the 2 on 1 that lead to Shaw's goal.

Jake thought he had it. I thought he had it. Just a bad puck bounce.

I think you play Saturday to win. You have at least three days off until the playoffs start.

Did you see how that play started? Game not exciting enough for you AP27? Gotta throw another of those well timed, well planned drop passes.....

Can we perhaps work on the proper timing and proper form to the drop-pass in practice this week fellas???!?!??!?! Good golly.

Ryan Reaves did the same thing on Sunday that lead to the two-on-oh breakaway.

As Don Cherry once said "there are 2 times you never throw a blind backhand pass up the middle-HOME and AWAY !"

And i would still rather play the Wild over the Hawks

Ideally we get the Jets

yes we will be bruised but they do not have the take over a game by themselves players like the Wild have

and I just know Chris Stewart will have like 25 points vs the blues in one playoff series

I wouldn't be surprised to see Elliot get the start on Saturday but I don't think the Blues can rest everyone and give this game away. They're playing for the top seed in the WC and has been mentioned - if they finish with the two seed there's still a scenario where they could draw Chicago plus Kane in the first round.

I think they'll treat this game as all the others.

If Hitch does not go with Allen on Satruday i will be pissed.

Dress everyone as if this is a playoff game, you know the wild need the points and have been a playoff team the last 3 weeks. Come at them strong and send a message,THEY WILL NOT WIN in this series

terrible play. short cuffed schwartz and led to a goal, steen is normally responsible for those but he is injured. oshie does this a lot also

get the play in deep at that point, we are not that beautiful to make those plays. we have skilled guys but bad passes are just that

Tarasenko is the one that started this terrible-awful trend.

I'm all for a well-crafted drop pass. Pavol Demitra was the best I ever saw, faking as if he were going to circle around the net for a wrap-around only to leave the puck at the near corner for the trailer. It was a thing of beauty.

If the Blue line is in sight - you're not deep enough to do this.

Wouldn't Anaheim have the head to head tiebreaker against the blues?
- Jackman

Anaheim won both at home
Blues won the only game at home.

Since unequal number of games played at each venue, you throw out the first game in Anaheim and now each team has one victory against the other. Hence, a tie!

How about David Rundblad? I would like to personally thank Doug Armstrong for having the foresight to pass on this kid way back in 2010. Not to mention the fact that he was somehow able to parlay him into Vladimir Tarasenko.

Would you rather give them a chance to get their mojo back against a struggling Preds team, get Kane back, and then face them in round two?

I would rather knock them out right off the bat, then really have only Anaheim and the Rangers to worry about.

Naw, he won't show up except to make a prediction once the match ups are set. Then he won't show up until the Blues lose.

That's how I feel as well. I'd rather take the Hawks on now while their morale is lower and they're Kaneless . I'd actually be worried to play Minnesota; they've stomped us pretty good the last 2 meetings and don't appear to be slowing down any time soon.

No. I was saying that hopefully they continue to work hard as a team and are able to hold onto 1 goal leads. Maybe with those 2 back they can add to that 1 goal lead and not have to preserve it for most of the 3rd.

I've liked the way the Blues played Chicago 2 games in a row. I see us getting too fancy with them back. Keep the lines the same except the 3rd should be

Steen Lehtera Tarasenko, if you can really call that a 3rd line.

Leave the S.O.S. line alone. Leave the Backes Line with Bergy and Jaskin alone. They are working hard and are hard to play against.

Unlikely, but not out of the question. The season series between the Yotes and Ducks is, surprisingly, split 2 games each. Which is better than the Blues record against the Wild, unfortunately (1-2-1).
