Well I guess that he would also play 10 more games against Tampa.

In 1961-62 Habs had a +222 goal differential over the 6th place Bruins...

Yes and I said that the 3 guys they got for him would lead the Habs back to the Cup. I was the spatso of the pre-internet.

Can't even imagine the post trade Roy bashing that would have taken place in here.

I figured Dryden had a 55 win season at some point. Didn't realize Bunny played that many games.

Look at when systems really became prevalent...say around the arrival of Jacques Lemaire as a coach?

One could also suggest that goalies got better once Roy's butterfly technique became widespread.

It's probably a combination of a bunch of factors, but goalies DID suck.

Its all relative and I think thats the point. Goalies had to develop at a rate to keep pace with other developments, slapshots, size , speed etc

Howard would have had his ban quota for the year the day after that trade.

hunger strike equals scaling back to only a half-dozen bagels for breakfast, cream cheese on only one side. no butter.

All Boston had to do was beat Florida and they would still be ahead of the sens. Can't be relying on other teams to get in the pkayoffs.
