Well I guess that he would also play 10 more games against Tampa.

Based on my extensive HB experience, you continue to argue more and more agressively while spewing the same arguments and dropping a couple of F-bombs to prove that you really mean it.

this morning Conor McKenna said a great choice to replace Claude Julien is either Bruce Boudeau or Ken Hitchcock.

Price reminded him they're both coaching playoff teams that are a threat to go deep.

he said no they'll get bounced early and both coaches will be available.

- dt99999

can't understand what makes that guy so arrogant

also, not that i have anything against Therrien, but id kinda like to see him replaced by Julien.

There aren't many teams that make the playoffs with an average goalie as a starter.

Maybe the Jets and Detroit... other than that?

- Pecafan Fan

I think MTL misses if they have Crawford in net...or Halak

people point to the goalie equipment and the evolution of the position but i think it's much more related to how defensively structured the game is today.

the budding stinger/_nay_ rivalry should be fantastic
- dt99999

Stinger will be joined ringside by his manager Sacha while Mr Peanut in the Habs peanutmobile will bring _nay_ to the Bell Centre.

Maybe. But all the best goalies in the 80s had a career sv% below .900

it's quite telling about the position itself, imho

At the time you were the goalie because you were the small and chubby one who wasn't good enough to play forward or defense. Things have changed.

Tenders are twice the size. Darren Pang,a nd Grant Fuhr could fit inside Bishops goal pants. Or, in his sweater. both of the little midgets.

Look at when systems really became prevalent...say around the arrival of Jacques Lemaire as a coach?
