them too but LA always seems to play with fire in the regular season. Boston's drop has been staggering.

Amazing how much we talk about the Sens and the exciting story lines and sometimes miss the obvious. Karlsson has had an incredible second half. Teams now set up to try and contain Karlsson. But, Karlsson continues to stir the entire mix. Remember when Holtby made a huge save on a point blank shot by a wide open Karlsson. The camera flashed Karlsson and he was smiling, almost chuckling. He was not laughing it off. It was a competitive smile that was saying, game on.

Love all the story lines but the real story here is Karlsson.

Philadelphia will not role over. It is a tough game.

yeah I saw that.

agreed, they will need a bunch of guys to elevate their game.

so odds are the Habs will lose to Toronto and Tampa will beat Boston.

Your track record of predictions has been so impeccable over the years so........

Habs will get at least 1 point on Saturday. Don't let the Orr call up cloud your judgement.

Sens could still jump detroit and then it would be Habs sens in the 2/3 matchup. I don't like that at all.

I see Therrien sitting a bunch of guys on Saturday, not expecting a huge effort, nobody will want to get injured against a team already eliminated.

Detroit, NYI or Pittsburgh (or Boston) would certainly be softer marks in the first round. but if you can't beat Ottawa in a playoff series then you're really nowhere close to contending.

Don't see the Habs as serious contenders in the East, Habs would need some serious help like Tampa and NYR upsets or major injuries, avoid a match up with Ottawa and hope someone gets them out.

I wouldn't mind a 1st round against pitts

i think Tampa is a bit overrated. i know they have Montreal's number but i mean in general. gotta be able to win on the road a lot in the playoffs and they're a sub-500 regular season road team. i see the Rangers as the top team and then Montreal/Washintgon/Tampa right behind them.
