That's what I think too. Pittsburgh is in real trouble now. Even if they manage to hang on, they will likely be the easiest opponent for anyone in the first round.
- Cyberhabs

so they will take out the Habs in 4 or 5?

no way Boston loses to Florida tonight with their season on the line.
only reason Ottawa has a chance in NY is because the Rangers have nothing to play for anymore.

Hank will be in goal. He's still rusty.

Habs will be fine. Eller said that losing Patches is not that big of a deal.

i think Pittsburgh is safe if only because they close out against Buffalo. but i agree, they'll likely be the softest first round opponent.

Ottawa winning tonight would really throw things into chaos.

only reason i say it's different is that the Oilers have been playing out the string for months whereas Florida was in a playoff race till recently and they seemed to have checked out on Sunday. but you're right in that obviously anything can happen.

I think Galchenyuk and his agent will be looking at getting the famous "bridge" deal from Bergevin, a long term contract would be at the Habs advantage at this point.

I say something in the 2 years 2.75-3M$ per year range

According to Eastside Hockey Manager, Pacioretty will have a 48-goals, 99 points season next year.
