Don't go tossing kiddy names around, no one else does that here. Respect what goes on; or don't particapate. It's not hard, this conversation has made RW about 3 cents too much; and that's because of name calling.

It's annoying

- nbartley9

RW should've be able to act by now. I got tossed for way less before Bartsy

MAF saved us from losing in regulation. He deserved better fate.

Taco Bell has something fried on the menu.

- Oneonta Penguin

maf has deserved better all season man.

watching the highlights again, it really is amazing just how good he was on so many quality chances.

lovejoy really, really (frank)ed up tonight on many occasions. he simply cant do that. he really doesnt contribute much else. he needs just to be able to make the basic plays.

the pouliot gaffe was awful. but that is the risk you run. at least he provides the potential to do something to make up for it. with guys like lovejoy, they need to break even, because they cant make up for it.

Bennett played like 9 and he was actually effective tonight.

That's just inexcusable. Even scrubs like Adams can skate faster than a guy that can't breath.

Ask Anaheim if he is garbage. Of all d-men with over 200 hits and over 100 shots blocked he is second in scoring behind Savard. He hasn't come close to hitting his ceiling yet and Lovejoy is hitting the floor.

Go ahead and tell me that the team is better with Lovejoy than Despres.

- acdc1206

At least with despres there is a chance he could get better. Lovejoy is forever a turd

Pretty certain Malkin is playing injured.
- jfkst1

i really do think malkin is playng injured.

he still had a few good set ups and chances of his own. he was also brought down twice to no call, not that the pp would matter anyway, but it shows that he was still somewhat active.

Are the post-game interviews up yet? Can't wait to hear MJ talk about the positives that he will take from the game.

He got tripped pretty good with about 5 mins left (no penalty time in the game) and got up really slowly.

There is no way that he is playing healthy right now. It's pretty obvious.
- Reverend Killtaker

He hates russians so no need to answer him. It's a shame. Almost like a nazi thing.

yeah.

malkin has been bringing it, consistently, all year.

crosby drove me nuts for the majority of the season, but he really has been great the past 10 games or so.

tonight, he was phenomenal. fleury was as well.

this loss really cant be laid at the feet of that trio.

they really just need to be able to put together a line at the end of the game that can close it down when need be. you realistically cant expect crosby to do that when he has been basically the sole source of offense all game. i know ive said it before, but man that is where they miss staal. a line with staal and winnik on it would be awesome.

So let's say Pouliot is out for some extended period of time... Do we have to play these last 2 games with 5 D again? Please tell me I'm understanding this wrong.

i'm a paulmart fan, but the current situation right now is just simply too much for him to bear on his own.

he is logging nearly 30 mins of icetime a night anymore. that is just simply too much for him to be expected to contribute at a high level.

its really a situation he cant win.

Even if we get in, these guys won't have anything left. Scuds has been playing on fumes for weeks.

So glad we traded despres for lovejoy.....he's much less mistake prone. Well earned -2 tonight.
- madmike71

This trade is looking horrible right now...two fold, Lovejoy has been horrible and Scuds has been just as bad after the trade. The GM needs to take a lot of heat for this, the coach needs to take a lot of heat for this game. He lost this game tonight. I can not even begin to start about tonights game...I am just going to walk away, shower...have a few drinks and go to sleep. This team doesn't deserve me being upset.

I am not sure to be honest, I don't think they can call anyone up. I think they are pretty much screwed...and they deserve it too. This team has been mishandled all season from the management to the coaching.

yeah. if there is no letang, there really isnt any point in even getting worked up.

they really wont be able to go far.

add letang and hoff back into the mix, and then maybe. the trio of 87,71, and 29 all look ready to go. that is encouraging.

but man, do they need some help right now. and this coming from someone who gave the stars a lot of grief in the beginning of the year. crosby especially. he has found another gear right now.

first and foremost, they need some health behind them, especially on the back end. and there really isnt much that can be done about that right now. i know the PP will suck with him or without him, but this team desperately needs letangs even strength minutes right now beyond all measure.

I couldn't believe it...Sutter just lost a draw, how in the world do you send him back out there again. HCMJ has lost me after tonights game, he needs to be gone. He is over his head and he will be fired. His choices pretty much cost the Pens this game....ran his players into the ground...again.

Thank you! Sutter was his typical mash potato self out there. Lost two critical draws when it counted most.

Some things just seem to be fate right now.

Sens look like they're going to make the playoffs come hell or high water. I am a Sens fan too and watch alot of their games and they can do no wrong right now. Pucks always lands on their sticks these days, bounces of opponents skates seem to happen pretty frequently, and that goalie is stealing burgers everywhere he goes.

And the polar opposite are the Pens, nothing is bouncing their way these days and to add insult another injury to an important dman. Just look at the odd bounces, they're the dramatic ones. Against Philly we had them on the ropes and a puck bounces up in the air into the net killing all our momentum and shifting it to the Flyers. Tonight the SH goal was covered the only possible thing that could go wrong was the puck going off Pouliots skate...and....

Im hoping Pouliot is fine because this is starting to get scary. Hopefully this is just the Hockey gods making us scratch and claw our way in.

Crosby is throwing this team on his back right now.
