So my take-away from this long Crosby discussions is the game today sucks in comparison to years gone by.
I'd take the wide open 197x Sabres vs Canadians games any day / all day.
And the LaFontaine / Molgilny years were fantestical as well.
This boring trap / clutch and grab crap that Snyder and Jacobs influenced to bring back after 2006 & 2007 seasons because their Flyers and Bruins couldn't compete has ruined the modern game IMO.

Amen on this.... Those Sabre Canadian games were classics. You could count on fast skating beautiful hockey in the purest sense. Usually the winner had at least 5 goals..... That is what hockey is supposed to be. Not the boring, put you to sleep crap they play today...
