I figured it's overpayment but was curious as to what he would find fair. Imo OEL and Eichel alone would be good for McDavid but I may be under or over valuing him I'm not certain.

Honestly don't think buffalo or Arizona would offer anything substantial to move up from 2nd to 1st. Now if Arizona falls to 3rd pick a big package would have to be involved if they want 1st

As a flyers fan I'm obligated to hate mcdonagh... but its crazy to say suter is more well rounded than him... suter is a great defensive defenseman , that can chip in some offense when needed. Mcdonagh plays solid defense every game, and he plays solid offense every single game to go along with it.

He's not going to get Norris votes. Weber, Kalrlsson and Subban will get the majority of the votes. Subban and Karlsson shouldn't because both of their games lack in the defensive zone sometimes. Weber should win it.

If the Sabres were to win the lottery and then offer to trade you the 1st (McDavid) for OEL, Domi, and the 2nd (Eichel) would you do it? Do you think that is to much for 1st overall? Not trying to troll or be a nuisance just curious about your thoughts on what you would be willing to trade for McDavid.

of all the writers and analysts that I follow and respect, I don't think any of them would vote Weber top three. Steve Simmons has a vote and wants to give it Weber because it "doesn't seem right" that he's never won.

Before his injury Gio was a no-doubter for the Norris IMO. Unfortunately that injury will probably cost him the Norris although it could be argued he should still get it anyways. OEL in many ways deserves a nomination, honestly not sure I can say he "deserves" it but definitely a nomination. He's had a very good year on a very bad team (I know captain obvious statement but I had to give him a positive statement for his good year). Definitely one of the best if not the best young d-man in the league

Have you ever seen a hockey game? Trevor Daley and Justin Faulk aren't in the same ballpark as OEL

Kinda my point. If your argument is that they put up a lot of points and are good players on a bad team, then you can apply such an argument to both those guys, who put up points playing for bad teams and relative to their teammates, are pretty good.

OEL is easily better than both, but he isn't a Norris contender, and its not easy to argue he's a top-10 D in the league right now.
