Stupid people are in school to try and get smart but are too stupid to realize their strike is preventing them from getting smarter so they keep on being stupid and keep striking meanwhile they aren't getting smarter and dt99999 is not striking and getting really smart, so....

Problem from the start was the extraordinary amount of garbage in the bottom six. Rutherford made a few moves to try and address this, most of them being a wash at best.
Unfortunately, the few GOOD moves he actually made have been submarined by injuries. They simply don't have the depth to survive having three of their top 6 defensemen injured.
