what does one say to that special someone who has been a binder (kind of like eggs) for habs fans on hb, the big (but sweet) butt of my acerbic critiques, the gatekeeper for way too many inmates who use your thread for their own personal therapy and to the cutest cheerleader since kirsten dunst in bring it on.

eric, your blogs have been both entertaining, predictable and.... predictable. nevertheless, they were awaited with bated breathe, hardly ever read and revered by your followers (aka shEEep).

engels, after almost 9 years, I guess this break up is long overdue. you, like hb, have become stale and stagnant. your following of the same 10-15 posters over and over and over and over and over again is all it will ever be. sad, but 10-15 is better than a kick in the pants.

good luck at sportsnet eric. hopefully this new endeavour will stimulate your creative juices, provide you with a bigger challenge and an audience that will push you to be more creative and interesting. a word of advice: your radio spots are far more interesting and intelligent than your blogs. maybe it is that your thoughts and opinions don't translate as well in print as it does live. try to write as you come off live. if you can master this, I have no doubt you will find a much broader audience than would ever have been possible at hockeybuzz.
