I didn't read most of your post, but did you try and compare the City of Toronto to Columbus?

It really kind of does, actually. I think that's why Leafs fans are all whiny. They live in a crappy place and have to support a crappy team.

Speaking of Toronto, this dbag has reminded me of my favorite Leafs memory in recent history...blowing a 4-1 lead to Boston in Game 7. That. Was. Epic. I remember all the Leafs fans all excited because they thought they were going to win...and then hahahahahaahhaha.

It was beautiful. So many tears were shed in Toronto that day.

I take it your a leaf fan....if so it's people like you who give the leafs fanbase a reputation as being the armpit fanbase of the nhl. Too bad ,because I know some very humble ones.

Also, the salary cap has made the game much more interesting (viewership and revenue being a testimony to that) , because it's not the usual suspects who mismanage and then buy their way out of trouble like in the good old days.

If anything , the salary cap has exposed the leafs as being a mismanaged ,flawed hockey mind organization.

Leafs fans do have something to learn from cbj fans.......boy cut games if management mires the club in mediocrity , Nonis and Shanahan can put an AHL squad on the ice and people will still pay full price for tickets.
