The team has had years and years of frustrating injuries to key players. I can deal with that somehow. From Bennett's peanut brittle frame to high ankle sprains and concussions, blown knees to top six forwards, &c. Cancer scares. Blood clots. Mumps. Penguins contracted the (frank)ing mumps. Not even Staal nor Gary Roberts escaped the injury plague following the Penguins.

Do injuries cause the team to play confused bantam-level, unorganized defense? I can't deal with that.

What about the affect of injuries on the team taking huge chunks of games off? Starting flat or coasting after a lead is taken? I can't deal with that.

Do injuries make a team more prone to committing minor penalties? I can't deal with that.

Frankly for the most part this is the first season in a long time that Letang, Crosby, and Malkin have been healthy at the same time. Add Hornqvist and Perron to Kunitz and you have arguably the strongest supporting cast since 2013. I want to know why the power play is so feeble, why the Penguins are anywhere near the league lead in PIM, and why I'm not being championed by you, dear reader, for seeing these problems four years ago and calling constant attention to it.

How do you feel about GMJR's first year in charge? I feel like on paper he's made your NHL roster, when fully healthy, better but overall it's worse when you consider the assets youve lost. Trading two draft picks for Winnik for example will continue to damage your long term depth.
