Flyer Free Agency is going to be as boring as the regular season - PhillySportsGuy

My mock this far goes as follows
1 McDavid Buffalo
2 Eichel Arizona
3 Hanafin Edmonton
4 Marner Toronto
5 Provorov Carolina
6 Strome Columbus
7 ...
I think if this is how it plays out the Flyers are down to Crouse, Zacha and Barzal. That's a tough call to make. I'd personally probably go Zacha but I see our scouts going all in for Crouse.

It does suck, no question. I am, however, dead set against the notion of tanking. I find it beyond distasteful. Tomorrow is the 31st anniversary of the notorious 13-4 game at the Spectrum where the Flyer scored seven unanswered goals in the third period because the Penguins did not even make a pretense of competing. - bmeltzer
Amen, and agree totally. I have to say that I also find the Flyers play in 3rd periods lately distasteful. |

You wouldn't think Columbus would go D? I'm not sure what's cooking in their farm but the Murray kid has been up and down and they have a bunch of solid young forwards already. Should be interesting |

Honestly, win or lose, Berube should be fired the minute they return from the road trip. - BiggE
It will loosen up the locker room for sure
I say we have a pool guessing the firing date/time

If Hanifin and Provorov are off the board by 6, no. Werenski would be a little bit surpring to go there. Strome to me would be the no brainer pick there for any team. They could go Crouse tho I suppose, depending on what they think of him.
I would prefer we stay away from Crouse only because there are few hulking LWs with scoring touch that should still be in play with Tampa's pick. |

Is cheif's treatment of mason a coaching ploy to get the team to come together in support for their goalie or is he just an ass hat? |

Isn't there a big physical player projected to go in the third round that they can take? |

Underrated album for sure!
Really wonder who coaches this team next season, or if the choice is still under contract with another club until seasons end?

Yup.
Take a look at Paul Bittner and Jordan Greenway. Bittner could go in the teens. They are 6'4 and 6'5 respectively. Bittner brings more offense. I get the sense that he's Simmonds-esque but with hands. Greenway has the offensive potential and is already around 220 lbs. |

Ob could probably help you out there. I've really only been looking at 1st round projected players and a few early 2nd round projections. |

Nice qualities, but I would think skating would be a major factor in deciding.
This team is in need of both size, & speed up front. |
