God help us if the Pens can't score on Dallas' goaltending. They've been awful this year and sank the team's chances. - jfkst1
I'd be happy it they are able to score two goals. |

Whats the NBA? - sammy87
A very carefully calibrated shill showcase for distasteful, triangular sneakers at outrageous profit margins. |

No matter what happens this playoffs, MAF is here for the long haul. Say he chokes again in the playoffs, how exactly do you trade a $5.5 mil G that just got extended?
MAF will be the Pens G for the forceable future, talking about moving him is a waste of time at this point. - sammy87
If he chokes, it's the bends. It had better be. Teams with terrible goaltending would probably look at Fleury but there won't be a situation for a while where guys like Schneider, Halak, Miller &c. would be available. |

I am 39. Exactly where is the problem? I guess I didn't realize that I would be judged not by my merits, but rather the orientation of my hat, and that by wearing it opposite of its intended design, I was instantly transformed into a useless pile of dung. I think of it as "re-purposing". While, it is true that fashion has changed many times over my short time on this planet, I never felt the need to demoralize someone because they didn't look like me. I bet you are one of those narrow-minded people who think long hair and earrings are for females only. If this is the case, I have the trifecta. I'm also willing to wager, that you wouldn't be man enough to actually come up to me or anyone else and speak your mind, either. |

Google aside, I wonder how may men know the difference between a trilby and a fedora. Or between one of several tie knots. It used to be that a man had a tailor, and that tailor would guide the man in his sartorial decisions. He would assure that the clothing fit well. Cuts of a suit, appropriate fabric. Labels on the inside of the clothes. Class.
These days it's piecemeal, ultra casual stuff. The lowest common denominator has pushed every last trend to the middle. Shopping for clothes is demoralizing. Even my beloved Brooks Brothers has ruined their shirts; now every one has to be MTM. I dislike 'no-iron' shirts as much as I dislike Floridians throwing plastic rats onto the ice. - Johnny Wrath
Personally, I look forward to when we're all wearing space age jump suits. Fashion is so tedious.
I'm willing to allow a sporty neon stripe on the suit, as a compromise. |

Funny you should mention such a thing. Mine is 725. I don't worry about the money/credit situation like many do. I learned the hard way of course, but took my lumps and moved on from it. People probably think I'm driving "daddy's truck" because I dress in shorts and t-shirts all the time. But, the car dealer didn't mind my attire at all when I went into his establishment and dropped $65,000 on a new truck. The fact is, I have a real disdain for the whole "judge a book by its cover" mentality. Truthfully, I don't really care what sammy87 thinks, or anyone else for that matter because I live how I want. I was really just using as a chance to bust his chops because I get irritated by his RW article slamming, and for whatever reason his annoy me more than any other Negative Nancy on here. |

Did today's blog say anything about fashion? Seriously! I'm curious. These threads have a mind of their own somedays.
Old school fedora guys vs casual guys, should be an interesting day. I'm a splendid mix. I wear the rink provided jump suits when coaching, jeans and a t shirt when working in the garage, appropriate camo when in the woods, a black boonie when kayaking or at the beach, cargos and a collared when working, and whatever the hell feels comfortable when I attend a game or dinner out.
The old school in me comes out at the gym where I like to wear head and arm bands with my John Ritter inspired ensemble from Three's Company. Still working on getting the authentic Magnum shorts; damn things are always sold out! |

Yeah, I guess I might have gone overboard with that one. But to be fair, it was relative to the quoted text. Good point, though. |

Winnik-Spaling-Comeau. Looks like the D pair was Hoff-Lovejoy, I'd go with that. |

Scuderi-Lovejoy
