So the Penguins really have up a 4 goal lead to the oilers... That's more embarrassing than if they were to lose to them |

Yeah, very exciting 30 minutes of effort by the Pens... 1st period, first 2 minutes of the 2nd... and last 8 of the 3rd.
But was a great game to watch, 10 goals, a fight... not as much hitting as I'd like. Not enough penalties either... didn't get to make faces at the players in the box enough.
Also, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins... Biggest female dog EVER! He whined and complained the entire time in the box towards Letang, while getting laughed at. Freaking grow up kid, you look like a 15 year old girl, except you're flat in front and not hot. |

If you were wearing an orpik jersey and sitting next to the penalty box closest to visiting goalie I saw you. No signs? |

My problem with that is they dominated to open. Typically a team fresh off a long trip is sluggish from the start. I chalk it up to they had a big lead and were playing a poor team they eased up |

2 things, 1) getting a four goal lead over the oilers in the first half of the game leads to complacency, they got lazy and it showed. 2) I thought LaPierre looked like he had been shot out of a cannon last night , energy on every shift just hunting down the puck. |

Having a 4 goal lead can absolutley not lead to complacency. They need to stay hungry, especially at this time of the year. |

It's human nature. Every single team I ever played on has done it at one time or another. |

Yes that was me, and no, we got in about 20 minutes before the drop and didn't want to miss warmups and such. |
|
|
|
Also, apparently doing this is frowned upon by security when they are in the penalty box

I know a lot of people aren't big on the crowd singing the anthem but I thought it was awesome. Also positive way to look at last night when we needed a goal it didn't have to be 87/71 to get it. |

I'm Glad Perron scored Last night. I Was getting a little mad. Btw I always love when I see Downie scoring. I like his style of play when he's on. |

I love Downie the penalties don't bother me much. Sid always puts up at least 3 when I'm there. Hope he reads this and gives me season tickets |

Did anyone think Sutter had a good game last night? If so, I think I have an answer as to why. If not, I think I have an answer as to why not and why he has been sucking all this time. |

He played well last night. Winnik has been a great addition so far and that is definitely aiding the 3rd line.

Crosby is starting to look like his old self over the past few games. The play he made on Hornqvist's goal was vintage Crosby. Maybe he's been pacing himself this season. |
