With all the rib eye talk last night, I'm whippin' myself up a nice one on Grillzilla (has ceramic plates under the grill) tonight. Grilled avocado included.

Retirement can be boring, I'd assume, if you don't have enough to do. I have plenty of hobbies, like watching golf and baseball on tv...not to mention I have a beautiful boat and three sets of golf clubs (none of which I can score well with).

Keeping Kadri out for three games is a blatant shot at tanking. Ridiculous.
- vancity787

Is it or does Kadri just suck?

Retired means something different to everyone. I could totally retire at 35 if I had the funds to keep doing all the hobbies I have.

I thought with this new Sportsnet deal there would be more hockey broadcast nationally. Can someone explain to me how the TOR-BUF game is national and the CAL-ANA game is ATLA only?

This game is amazing. Phaneuf is leading the Leafs to McDavid.

LA Needs this game more than VAN. Let’s see how ready they are for a team playing for their playoff lives. I can see Lack in the back of the net a few times.

I think they have to choose their national broadcasts at the start of the season. I'd like to see sportsnet adopt the NFL's flex-scheduling approach post trade-deadline. Make the best game the one that is nationally broadcast.

A post trade deadline flex schedule sounds like a no brainer to me, but this is Bettman we are dealing with here.

Am I alone in thinking that Frankie Corrado is overrated by the Canucks' coaching staff? He entered the lineup in place of Clendening who, in my opinion, is a much better player. Even Biega would be a better option than Corrado.

I think the Canucks should try to trade Corrado. The Canucks have some great defense prospects in the system, primarily with the dynamic play of Jordan Subban. He is going to be in the top pairing, and will likely be as competent a player as his brother Malcolm, or potentially better. Beyond Subban, the Canucks have Evan McEneny, Henrik Tommernes, and Ben Hutton. These 4 defensive prospects are the future of the Canucks organization along with top forward prospects Horvat, Cassels, McCann, Virtanen, Shinkaruk, and Gaunce.

Anyone care to weigh in? Carol, your thoughts please!?
