I enjoy quiet times, I'm a bit of a quiet person, but I would choose a good book over baseball personally. As you said, to each his own. Hockey is really my only vice WRT watching sports, only other thing I will watch when it's on is rugby or international soccer

Baseball is definitely slow in terms of action, more like a chess game, and I agree it is boring to watch on tv, playoffs are awesome though.

To be honest I've haven't been watching some recent Canucks games, which is highly unusual for me, because they've been boring me with their lack of effort and skill.
