Quite the sh1t-storm in Toronto with the Maple Leafs 'best player' being scratched for 3 games for disciplinary reasons. I knew their season is an epic write-off but didn't realize how bad it was with Kadri being their 'hardest working' player on the team night in and night out. Wow!
- Marwood

Kadri clearly has some talent but it's his perceived attitude that always turned me off from any ideas of a trade. That said, when Phil Little Lamb Kessel starts berating the TO media in public you know there are much bigger problems going on in that locker room and Kadri might even have cause.

Benching Kadri is a 'tank' move my Shanny. Pure and simple.

Depends what you are in the mood for. House of Cards is crazy good. If you want something a little less intense then firefly or fringe are pretty good. And if you want something way less intense, they have all the Trailer Park Boys episodes.

Finished house of cards last week. Want something intense. Has anyone watched Spatacus?

When your own Team-mate wants to elbow you in the face you know that is a toxic locker room.

Just finished season 1 of Marco Polo last night. Now I need suggestions for my next foray into Nexflix. Suggestions?
- Linden_4_Capt

As for "newer" series' i'd recommend either American Horror Story, The 100 or Helix....but there are also some great older series' on there as well to catch up on if you never seen them such as Sparticus, Scrubs, M.A.S.H., Dexter and my two all time favorites, My Name Is Earl and That 70's Show

Yah Hawaii five o is great for the scenery and that's about it. we still watch it. NCIS here and there.

The wife always says we should go to Hawaii for vacation, and I always tell her there is too much crime. I watched the Christmas special with her and thought it was so stupid that they cut that tree down in a protected park area.

Blacklist is fun, and I always laugh at Spader, such a ham, reminds me of Caruso, always tilting his head. Still entertaining though.

Yeah the original seasons were pretty good and intense in a graphic way. The main actor (who played Spartacus) apparently died of cancer after those seasons and they replaced him. It was never the same after that and I quickly stopped watching.

Eh, first season was great. Then the main character passed away in real life and they replaced him with some tool beefcake. Gave up after the first few eps of season 2.

I've been watching Vikings Season 3 on the History Channel, but admittedly I'm a sucker for period pieces.

I also started getting into Mad Men recently and am now into season 3 for that show. It is a very well written and acted show. I've been watching it with the missus and I somehow I think the show resonates more with women than men, but Don Draper is pretty bada$$.

True Detective season 1 was excellent.

Incredibly I've never seen Breaking Bad but it's on the Netflix queue as is House of Cards.

To be completely honest though I've been sort of killing time since Boardwalk Empire ended and until Game of Thrones starts again in a month.

Heard good stuff about Vikings but don't think it is on Netflix.
Meh about Mad Men. I watched a few episodes and could not get into it. Same with Breaking bad.
Finished House of Cards already.
Game of Thrones would be the closest to Marco Polo but not on Netflix.
I hear True Detective is only good in the first season. I will check this out though.

True, though a buddy of mine has Crave Tv and it's got all the HBO epics that have already ended such as:

The Wire.
Entourage.
Rome.
Generation Kill
Band of Brothers
The Pacific
Oz
6 Feet Under
Sopranos
Deadwood
etc.

I think its only like 5 bucks a month.

- Whiskey-Tango

The Wire- I am tempted to start this again.

I keep hearing that, she is going for a girls vacation in June. Whenever I hear anyone goes, it always seems like when they are back home they start trying to figure out when they can go back.

I have a friend who plays racquetball and he used to go there every year for a little tourney. Always raving about it, and wearing colorful shirts. Almost seems like a state of mind or something.

Just looked up Tyler Johnson's details for the first time.

The guy is a 5'9" 182lbs C and was undrafted. He's 8th in the league in scoring (65) while averaging a few minutes less ice time than everyone above him.

What a find by Stevie Y.

Been to Hawaii once and it rained mostly so did not enjoy it but I thought the St Vincent was the best place till I went to Fiji last year. Wow! It is paradise. Highly recommend it if you can go. Go in late September. Lots of tropical fruits in season. And beaches are clean and the water is clear. I can go on and on about my experience but I am sure you guys will want to find out by yourself.

Our trip last year it rained a lot, first time in about 10 years we had a lot of rain. It's different rain though, but still sucks when you're on vacation.

I've been to Tahiti but not Fiji. Heard it's beautiful.

Bacon And Sausage Soufflé Recipe

Servings:6 servings
Ingredients
1/2 pound hickory-smoked bacon, cut into small pieces
1/2 pound bulk pork sausage
6 slices white loaf bread, crusts removed
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
2 cups half-and-half
5 large eggs
2 teaspoons dry mustard
, to taste
Directions:
Place the bacon in a large skillet, break up the sausage in the skillet, and fry the two meats over moderate heat till fully cooked, stirring. Drain on paper towels.
Brush the bread with the butter, cut into small cubes, and arrange the cubes in a buttered 13 by 9-inch or round baking dish. Spoon the bacon and sausage evenly over the cubes and sprinkle the cheese evenly over the top. In a bowl, whisk together the remaining ingredients till well blended, pour over the cheese, cover with plastic wrap, and chill overnight.
When ready to bake, preheat the oven to 350°F, bake the soufflé till golden, 40 to 45 minutes, and serve hot.
