Bacon And Sausage Soufflé Recipe
Servings:6 servings
Ingredients
1/2 pound hickory-smoked bacon, cut into small pieces
1/2 pound bulk pork sausage
6 slices white loaf bread, crusts removed
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
2 cups half-and-half
5 large eggs
2 teaspoons dry mustard
, to taste
Directions:
Place the bacon in a large skillet, break up the sausage in the skillet, and fry the two meats over moderate heat till fully cooked, stirring. Drain on paper towels.
Brush the bread with the butter, cut into small cubes, and arrange the cubes in a buttered 13 by 9-inch or round baking dish. Spoon the bacon and sausage evenly over the cubes and sprinkle the cheese evenly over the top. In a bowl, whisk together the remaining ingredients till well blended, pour over the cheese, cover with plastic wrap, and chill overnight.
When ready to bake, preheat the oven to 350°F, bake the soufflé till golden, 40 to 45 minutes, and serve hot. |

Just finished season 1 of Marco Polo last night. Now I need suggestions for my next foray into Nexflix. Suggestions? - Linden_4_Capt
I've been watching Vikings Season 3 on the History Channel, but admittedly I'm a sucker for period pieces.
I also started getting into Mad Men recently and am now into season 3 for that show. It is a very well written and acted show. I've been watching it with the missus and I somehow I think the show resonates more with women than men, but Don Draper is pretty bada$$.
True Detective season 1 was excellent.
Incredibly I've never seen Breaking Bad but it's on the Netflix queue as is House of Cards.
To be completely honest though I've been sort of killing time since Boardwalk Empire ended and until Game of Thrones starts again in a month. |

Two epic shows. Kevin Spacey is superb in House of Cards, as is the production quality, story, cast etc etc etc. A must watch for anyone who likes politics/I.R/In depth Dramas, character development etc etc etc.
Edit: Also, if you liked Boardwalk, Peaky Blinders is right up ur alley. |

Yeah I've heard so much about it it's become a must see on the list. Kevin Spacey is consistently great in virtually anything he touches.
Credit to HBO for really pushing a mini-revolution on the quality of shows and getting others onboard. The quality of tv is so much better today than it was 10 years ago.
Thanks for the tip on Peaky Blinders. I'm currently trying to figure out a way to spoof the DNS. Any tips let me know. |

I've not done it myself, but I'm pretty sure that there is a you tube tutorial on how to do it. True Detective isn't on there though. |

What device do you stream through?
Gaming devices are extremely easy to change whereas i have no clue when it comes to Ipads/ wireless bluerays and the sort.
Best bet is to simply go to youtube and search how to change DNS settings on "insert device". You will get 100's of videos/explanations and the codes will generally be in the comment section. Very easy and should take no less then 5 minutes. |

tendulkar was good, not the greatest of all time... maybe just for india. - kaptaan
Bradman would be the only player I'd suggest that might edge out the God; however, he played in an entirely different era of cricket. Considering how long Sachin played for, the era he played in, and what he was able to accomplish during that time, I'd still give the edge to him. Dude is only 5 foot 5, and he dominated the game shortly after starting his career at 16 . The little master will no doubt go down in history as one of the greatest. And in some people's opinions, the greatest of all time. |

Ya man, considering the price of a single season for those shows still run upwards of 20-30 dollars the deal seems awesome.
Personally i loved HBO's military drama's, especially Generation kill, it was the perfect adaptation of the book. |

I haven't watched Suits, True Detective is great. But Blacklist is like a guilty pleasure in our house... A bit of a check your brain at the door sort of show.
Not as bad as Hawaii Five-0 or NCIS:LA, that my wife likes to watch and I put up with but often don't finish the show... But then again, you can't watch a lot of stuff on the main channels and start saying, I don't think that would really happen.
If there was one show that my wife watches that I wish I could get into, it would be The Good Wife. I still might go back and watch it.
I have also found Grimm (another guilty pleasure), Elementary, and the British Sherlock series with Benedict Cumberbatch to be good.
If you like the bbc/pbs shows, Little Dorrit was a great period sort of series.
And I forgot about Strike Back a great series, just waiting for the new season to start. And not sure if anything I mentioned is on Netflix, but Spooks was a great series too, 10 seasons worth.
What about 24? I love the spy stuff. |

Quite the sh1t-storm in Toronto with the Maple Leafs 'best player' being scratched for 3 games for disciplinary reasons. I knew their season is an epic write-off but didn't realize how bad it was with Kadri being their 'hardest working' player on the team night in and night out. Wow! |

Scratched for 2 more games |
