I never worked in Whistler, but I bet pre-housing bubble collapse they used to kill it up there. I have some friends that worked at Barefoot or Araxi. One of the GM's I worked for went for some "research", he was drinking 2oz glasses of Dominus for some ridiculous price at Barefoot Bistro.

Try the Hoyne Seasonal, Hard Rain Double IPA - Less creamy then Fat Tug, and a bit more aromatic. It will put you on your ass though, almost 8% alc/vol
