We have a sh1t D here. I could play top 3 D . Being the best apple in a barrel of rotten apples doesn't make you a best apple anywhere else.

Look at his fricken numbers. 64 games max played. 25 hits max ever in one year. 17 PTs max ever in one year.

Those are not good numbers

Would like to see Kenins back in the line up tonight.

Good article by Kes. I'm impressed he still drives the truck he bought with his first pro contract.

So we pay Mathias to score goals even though he doesn't have a history of it. But we don't pay tanev to stop goals because he isn't flashy at it even though he has a history of it? Jesus Christ, Is this Dave Nonis syndrome? Think about what your saying

I hope Horvat castrates Perry tonight.

Boychuck is gonna get 7 mill for 6 yrs. He's 31 or 32. No thanks.
- Bieksa#3

Really only wanted him for 2 or 3 seasons anyway, but I guess someone will make a long term commitment. Don't want to see Tanev signed for more than 4 years...

First time I ever PVR'd a game was a couple years ago.

It was a game against the hawks on a Sunday I worked.

Came home, watched the worst hockey game I've ever seen. I believe the canucks got a total of 14 shots that game.

Never again will I PVR. Live or nothing

7 mill?

You're out to lunch bud.

- vancity787

A bet?

Boychuck is far and away the best ufa defender. Franson is gonna get about 5.5. Who would you rather have!

Are you Kevin Lowe or Craig Mactavish. Because either one of them care about stopping the other team from scoring.
- Bieksa#3

Where did you get that from? you think that Tanev is the sole reason we don't give up goals.... I dont want to lock up a soft dman for 4 million plus a yr that is useless after the puck is across center. I don't undervalue Tanev at all I know what he does. But to compare a 25 yr old bouwmeister and a 25 yr old Tanev is ludicrous... you deserve a facepalm for even thinking so. even Milbury isn't that dumb

Tanev would be lucky to see a 20 point year never mind 20 goals, I thought that would be a given

exactly. You want a guy who's flashy and stops the other team once in a while.
Boumeester is useless once the puck gets over center. Both use their skating and hockey sense to stop the attacking player. You, Lowe and Mac T wouldn't want either one of them.

I like to pvr just to ffwd through the commercials. It comes in handy, especially for early east coast games.

When they are a little later, I like to start watching a bit after it has been on for a half hour and then you are usually caught up in the third period.

When it is a sh!t game I spend less time watching, and ffwd a bit more.

Once in a while the pvr glitches and I miss stuff.

For the same price, I'd probably keep Matthias for those reasons as well as to shake up the team a bit more. Higgins is a better player though IMO
- bezz44

He won't stay for what the fans here want to pay him. We will be too tapped out throwing crazy money at the beanpole Marshmellow instead.

I don't believe that for a second. I've heard stories, and they are the opposite.

Wow MAF... Surprised to see him there. Crawford too, always felt they were both pretty damn average
- bezz44

Here's the breakdown:

low-danger shots: Crawford #1, Eddie #2, MAF #3 (Miller #40.... near last)
medium-danger shots: Crawford #10, Eddie #11, MAF #25 (Miller #43... near last)
high-danger shots: Crawford #25, Eddie #20, MAF #6 (Miller #2..... shootout specialist.....)
