Marlies

The goalie(Gibson?) Was pretty solid. Was aided be a few posts and a crossbar with 5 sec left.
Leivo- great skill and energy. Hansen type
C Brown- kid has great hands. A 6th round steal
Nylander- although it was a toss up between him and Sven on the most skill in the game. Guy is not interested. Lazy as a house cat
Ross and Devane are either cowards or agitators

He'll fit right in, in Toronto... Lols... Blue and white disease already

Colorado, Chicago, Detroit... I think there was 4 straight years we lost to the eventual Stanley cup winner.

I'm not sure if this was discussed but Jensen was a healthy scratch I just read.

Could this be the beginning of the end? Not even sure when he is a RFA

Inconsistent is the word best used to describe him I would guess.

Holy crap! Has the shine totally worn off of the Walking Dead. It's disappointing to be this invested into a series and have to suffer through what it has become.

I like the new episodes, if they just keep wondering around, barely surviving, it becomes old and repetitive, the new "civilized" turn in the last few episodes is a nice breath of fresh air, though it sounds like all will not be so calm next week

I stopped watching it this season after they ate the guy's foot. that made no sense. cannibals?! really??? you can see rabbits and deer and other animals out there. i'm sure humans would eat them first. or engage in raising chickens and sheep and other food sources. there was no reason for them to be cannibals.

neways. i'll wait until the season finale and it ends up on Netflix.

Strange season. Would be ideal if Calgary and Vancouver met in the conference finals............

Calgary Vancouver in the first round would be awesome. Pretty sure that the majority of times they played each other in the first round one of them made the finals.

At the rate which Sven is scoring down in Utica, I expect that he'll be up here when (and if) we play them.

Imagine that story...

He'll be here sooner or later for sure. The only 2 guys that have his skill set are the sedins.

I haven't seen him play, that I can remember? Benning seems to have an eye for talent, hopefully he got it right with this one.

He put up some great numbers in Portland, hopefully he can find his way with WD and the Nucks organization. He's still young!

While I love watching youtube highlight reels....... Thats all they are. Showing moments of greatness, not the whole thing.

I was pretty damn spectacular at moments during my sporting career. approximatley 3% of it.

If you only see the good your expectations will be far too high.

Im patient and think SB could turn out to be a solid third or second liner.

Third more likely IMHO

He's a top 6 player who was mismanaged by the Flames. He's going to play on the Canucks in 2015; im sure of it.

If he pans out, you cant help but to be excited for the future of this team.

Baertschi - Horvat - Virtanen
Shinkaruk - McCann - Kassian
Gaunce - Cassels - Jensen

I'm a realist, so I realize that the probability of all these guys fulfilling their potential is <50%. That being said, this looks WAYY better than it did 20-24 months ago.

Maybe not a Stanley Cup contender, but hopefully not a bottem dweller either.

Yeah, I'd rather not sign any UFA forwards unless it's short term top 6.

The back end is pretty barren when it comes to prospects though. Hopefully that gets addressed soon.

I don't want to be the debbie downer or anything but a lot have high hopes for a guy who hasn't put up the same kind of numbers in the NHL. The same was said about Markstrom how he was so amazing and NHL ready and should trade Lack. Everybody saw how ready Markstrom is.

A guy who can play so well and puts up such great numbers in the AHL and still can't find his way to the NHL. What is wrong with his game? Is he the next Alexander Semin? Does he not play in his own end? What is it that Sven hasn't had a real shot at the NHL with the skill set he possesses?
