Biega is easily comets best player
- Bieksa#3

I wouldn't mind him and Sanguinetti being sent up to bench weber and Stanton.

What I will say is regardless of how ani-Gaunce I've been on these boards over the years.

I think he has validly earned a call up before seasons end

Stanton is considerably better then sags. He's just a pp QB at the ahl level.

Is there any sort of limit for the number of call ups after tdl?

I still want to see Sanguinetti.

McCann didn't play today? Cassels with a hat trick, 1 SH 2 PP plus an assist.

Cassels is the least talked about most promising prospect IMHO

I don't blame markstrom fire the "egg" he laid. I think it's Willie's fault since he started him against a more dangerous squad instead of buffalo. Markstrom should get another start.

Markstrom will get another start but we keep hearing you have to take every team seriously, I don't think it really matters which team he starts against, he has to make the stops.

We all want him to do well.

I do agree with this. Regardless of who started the Buffalo game, the team infront of him was horrid and likely wouldnt have made a difference who was between the pipes.

I could see him scoring 30 goals, winning the Selke and captaining the Canucks to the Stanley cup in 2020.

Sven got a goal today. He's up to 4 points (1-3-4) in 3 games as Comet and has a 5 game point streak.

True that. I just feel the guys might have played harder in front of him and that would have made the difference against a weaker squad.

Exactly. Regardless of how good you are you can lose to any given team on any given night.

The inconsistency with this club is a piszer.

Not sure why they have a hard time getting it going, too many times they have not shown up for the start of the game. Then again, I don't know how many times they have come out flat for the 2nd after a good start...

Talk about wishing the guys would play harder in front of him, how many times did they come out flat with Lack in net at the start/1st half of the season.

We have seen them show real well and get us thinking, they might be able to make a little noise in the playoffs? and then...

But last night with that win, I had a smile on my face for the rest of the evening.

(this team is a roller coaster of emotion)

Got a chance to see Colorado live a few times this year and last year. This kid can take control when he's on the ice. Very shifty, great skater, good vision, and great hockey sense. I'd love to have a guy like him quarterback our powerplay

As much as we need a 2nd line forward, I agree, an offensive forward that can play both ways is sorely needed.
