there really isn't any unbiased coverage of the Leafs... the media is either trampling each to other kiss everyone's a__ when the team does well.. .and equally going completely overboard to find the most nuanced criticism you can imagine when those go poorly... absolutely no balance, one extreme or the other.

and the biggest problem... really poor hockey knowledge on the part of the "writers/bloggers".... while you can definitely say the various panels have sufficient ex-pro coverage - that absolutely cannot be said for the others.

It isn't a case that they are necessarily so biased either for or against... they are just poor/bad.
