We'll have an indicator, once summer is over. They had a chance at the trade deadline, then the draft, then free agency. If they can't get a decent deal for these guys, they're either can't be traded, or worth very little in return. Better to just keep them, but I'd hate to see that. Once some of the years drop off their contracts, then they may become easier to trade. In all likelyhood, it'll be draft choices from the 2016 draft coming our way, once the deals are made.

Nobody is going to give up a top 5 pick for Kessel. He may be worth a top 5 but, it is more a problem of scale in relation to cap, age of a team and rebuilding priorities.
