Hamhuis has given the puck away 3 times in the last couple minutes. He needs to take a breath and start making plays instead of just wristing it up the boards.
We'll need to pay Tanev what he costs to keep this offseason. I'm still mad that Ehrhoff left. He's probably not the player he was after the years in Buffalo and the concussion he's dealing with, but we need to get another PP quarterback like him.
I was tepid on the Vrbata signing this offseason, but after watching him play, I love that guy. Hell of a player. - micah555
I am sorry I seen Ehrhoff coward too many times to ever want him on my team.

Man this team misses having a QB for the power play.
We should try and get Anthony DeAngelo from the lightning. Now that guy is going to be a good offensive D-man.

Again you prove you have as much hockey knowledge as my left nut. All these RFA Dmen that you think are so important , take a read at a few of the previous posts of their opinion of Weber Sbisa Stanton .
Any ways I wasted too much time on someone who doesn't matter. Go find someone else to annoy with your lack of everything - VANTEL
I guess that Tanev guy doesn't matter neither does he. The rest of the replacements will probably play for free since they'll get a chance to play with Fehr, the first line goal scoring beast that signs for $2 million.
Please, lend us more of your amazing hockey knowledge.

You are an ass beyond words. You don't feel Fehr is worth 2 mil . You dont think Matthias isnt worth 3.5 , but you think Taneve is worth how much 3.5- 4.5 mil ?
I bet you are one of those who think he is the next Bobby Orr. You are going to pay how much for a player who has a career high 25 hits and 17 PTs. You make me laugh.
Vancouvers biggest problem is they are too soft and they don't score enough and you are worried about Tanev
Both Matthias and Fehr have more goals than Tanev has a career high points this year.
Both Matthias and Fehr have at least twice as many than Tanevs career high 25 hits .

Most defensemen are paid to defend, not score. Tanev does that well. I'm not sure if you've noticed but it's much harder to score if you can't get the puck out of your own end.
Vancouver's biggest problem regarding scoring is they have too many third line players.
Your solution is to overpay for one and sign another one which you insist they can do for $2million.
What the hell makes you think he'll come to Vancouver for $2 million?
If Washington won't offer him that then he's not worth it, considering he plays with Ovie and Backstrom.
My solution is to either put more young blood on the squad or at least sign the 3rd line players we have to third line money, not 3.5 million a year.
I've NEVER felt or said Tanev has that offensive upside, but you don't even know what the hell you're saying so how can you keep track of what I say.
It does bring up another point though, maybe the Canucks should be looking to spend money on a decent PMD rather than another 3rd line scrub.
