I think we should have got more looking at the Sekera, Coburn, and Timmonen deals but whatever, I dont know what was offered or anything. MacT said that teams were using Petry as a plan B. I'm slowly starting to care less and less about this team. I went from being a season ticket holder before the lockout to now not even caring whether I see the game on TV or not. I hope Petry does well. He's in a far better situation in Montreal than he was here and I dont blame him for wanting out. Hopefully we can do something good with the picks and replace him in the offseason.

I don't doubt Jeff said that upon his departure as he knew he was leaving a struggling franchise that drafted and groomed him even thinner and without a ton of options.

Who knows. Maybe he poops the bed in Montreal and prices himself into a 3 million a year contract instead of the 5 he was hoping for. I doubt it happens but you never know. Maybe he blows his ACL or something else tomorrow and only gets PTO offers in the offseason.
