Personally I think Coburn is better but regardless he has another year on his contract while Petry is a rental. Same thing with people female doging because Tampa got two 2nds for Connolly. He's a 22 year old, 6th overall, 6'2 power winger with 5 more seasons of RFA status whereas Petry is again a rental.

I think we should have got more looking at the Sekera, Coburn, and Timmonen deals but whatever, I dont know what was offered or anything. MacT said that teams were using Petry as a plan B. I'm slowly starting to care less and less about this team. I went from being a season ticket holder before the lockout to now not even caring whether I see the game on TV or not. I hope Petry does well. He's in a far better situation in Montreal than he was here and I dont blame him for wanting out. Hopefully we can do something good with the picks and replace him in the offseason.
