He's going to have to be outstanding for the Pens to make a deep run. Him and the power play are going to be what determine how far they go.

Yes , true for the most part but Arizona offers nice weather, and the US markets offer anonymity for the players that want their personal lives to be private. Of course the best way to attract good players is a winning organization regardless of where it's located. I really hope the Oilers can turn it around within the next couple of years , I do see progress since Nelson took over , they are harder to play against.

This just in from TSN’s Bob McKenzie, news of the apparent interest of the Edmonton Oilers in free agent centre Olli Jokinen: “Olli Jokinen is a name we’ve heard that the Edmonton Oilers are seriously kicking tires on. They’d like some strength and experience at that position.”

Then after that he said the Jokinen wasn't intersted in Edmonton, if I recall correctly that is.

As for Roy, I think he mentioned in an interview that Edmonton reached out to him but he wasn't interested at the time.
