Thats the sad part, the last time an oiler gm made a trade to try and make us better we got Kotalik and O'sullivan...... I still think Draft will be our day to shine but I am probably gunna be disappointed again.

i basically was askin if they go out in one of the first two rounds, how the seeding works at that point.
(essentially theyre gonna be one of the lowest picks in relation to the teams that also go out in any round as theyre a league leader and probably a division winner


as far as the draft picks; i absolutely loathe the habs. my most hated team.
so i could never cheer for them to win. ever.
but putting that aside, im with you. id rather the later second and a 3rd.

but that was a huge price.
im glad he didn't pay that.


his options are limited though.
he cant deal our first for anything less than a slam dunk. but no will do that with the position being unknown (not mceichel)

so hes got pits first, a couple of seconds, fasth, marincin etc as the only real realistic tradeable assets
