Listen guy, I'm not making Niemi out to be a Hall of Fame GOAT goaltender or even top 5 in his position today. But he's a proven veteran goaltender who has won and performed well under pressure on good teams. Bernier has no winning history and has been a mediocre at best goaltender his entire career.

like I'm not making this up man... he's was bottom half of the playoffs in stats... he played behind one of the best teams we've seen in a while... he is a very average goalie and his complete career stats show that... as well as being on the down side of his career and a ufa... you can keep saying stanley cup all you want (which bernier has btw so good one) ... to conclude he is not getting 1st
