He'll look really good on a good team. Not quite 7 million good though. - daeth
Considering what others are getting paid, I don't think 7 million is that far off. He's looks worse because our team is poop. |

Will he be the 3rd or 4th in that proper pairing? - weirdoh
nah... general consensus last night is that Dion really isn't anything more than a 5-6 guy... you know like Tim Gleason.
I mean, clearly they Leafs should give him to Detroit, pay 2M of his salary, take Weiss and Kindl back and send a 1st rounder along with him to keep Holland happy.

good man... i think the willingness to suck up and pay for the clarkson mistake at least shows they are willing to do what ever it takes to win now... |

The question is, will a trade enable Dion to understand how to cover his man in front?... |

he has the 7th highest cap hit among dmen, that's a bit much especially considering the term |

Geez. You'd almost think Dion wasn't trying there. So weak, so passive.
Who the fk would trade for that... |

Probably. Because as a 5/6/7 dman he'll not have too many chances to make that mistake. |

I know this is hypothetical but in 2/3 years when the cap rises a few times his salary wont be near the top 10. |

Teams that know what talent really is, and teams that know he's "worth every penny". Clearly you sitting behind a computer screen don't know poop. |
