The Rangers have won the most playoff series than any other major sports team in the last 4 years besides the Heat, Kings, Hawks, and some other team that I can't remember.

OK if thats what Yandle is getting I have a hard time believing that Phaneuf will get nothing for the Leafs. That's just insane.

You mentioned they've had the best record since mid-December, and I said it doesn't mean anything in the playoffs. You can be the best team in the nhl (record wise), but still get knocked in the 1st round.

Rangers are a stanley cup contender before this trade and just got a lot better. This is what stanley cup contenders do, they take risks and go for it. We have a good record, an experienced team that's succeeded to certain extents in the playoffs, and we just got better. There happy?

I love reading posts from fans of teams that have never won a Stanley Cup talk about long term viability/competitiveness being something better than a team that sucks 15 of 20 years but in those 5 good years have a couple cups to show for it....

Which has literally only ever happened once.

The Rangers have one of the best records in the league and they proved they are a playoff team last year. They are built for the playoffs and their goaltending is spectacular. They're definitely favorites coming out of the East.
