Gilbert plays on the right, and Emelin is not really good playing on the right. - ShafterBenRaide
I guess, I just don't want to see bauleau come out of the lineup |

Beaulieu is still a rookie, just his first year in the NHL. Still has a lot to learn. Will he be able to handle the pressure of the playoffs? It's good to have veteran players like Weaver and Emelin ready to step up just in case. |

Before we start dumping salary, Bergevin will have to see what happens in the playoffs first.
This is also the last chance for Desharnais and Plek to prove they can play in the playoffs. If both of them are again useless in the playoffs , I wouldn't be surprise the see them both traded in the off season. - ShafterBenRaide

I think he would be fine. It would be a good learning experience for him. I think he can learn more by playing instead of watching from the press box. |

They both suck in the playoffs so far in their career. If they can't elevate their game in the playoffs, then they are pretty useless since the goal is the win the stanley cup and not the president trophy. |

No, but they do have to improve a bit to be able to compete with the favourites out of the west. |

Then how do you replace your number 1 and number 2 centers? |

Well obviously it's up to Bergevin to make a trade. There is a reason he makes the big $$$. |

I wouldn't. Id wait till galchenyuk is ready to be your #1. Desharnais would be a good number 2 and plek at 3. Trade Eller to dump his salary and then bring in a top 6 scorer to help out patches. |

I wouldn't get too carried away with trading plek and dd. They do fairly well for what they get paid. |

pretty small difference in Pleks production between POs and reg season. Desharnais has a serious drop although last year was a bit better |
