Bozak is a good hockey trade. O'Reilly would be a trade deadline rental since his contract is up this year.
Bozak's signed at a cap-friendly deal for a few more years at 4.25 mil. He's a below-average 1st liner in the league everyone can agree on that. But on your 2nd/3rd line I think he would be good. - twiztedmike
No, on the second line he won't be on the prime PP and beside one of the top point producing forwards in the game and a first line forward. So useless. When Bozak is away from Kessel his production tanks so badly it's a sinkhole.

3 points weekend for Hudon.
Trade deasline is gonna be a joke everybody got traded already - Fredobface
You would have to think that Hudon and 1st rounder could be an enticing package for a rebuilding team, no? Definitely not for a rental but as part of a deal involving a longer term impact player?

Hudon and Fucale, Reway you have something to work
As a 3-4 guy, I think he would be very useful. - Cyberhabs
You're kidding right? I wouldn't take Phaneuf if he made 2 million a year. I mean forget his defensive game, which sucks, but consider his other attributes. The guy is a terrible leader and a wannabe tough guy on the ice who only fights skilled players, I don't want to be cheering for that every night. He also oozes losing being a Leaf as long as he has and the captain for all those horrible leaf collapses; he had a central part behind those; he doesn't know the first thing about winning. He would kill the team chemistry. How many other former leafs have gone to other teams and never won after? It's not superstition it's a fact, once you wear that Leafs sweater you're destined to lose the rest of your career. Even Kessel and JVR going to Team USA at the Olympics and not even getting a medal.

On a good team with a lesser role, I think he would do well. He would of course need to accept that role but that is another issue all together. I am not saying that the Habs should target him, just that he does have some value.

Why would he fight goons? Hurts the leafs more to have him off than the goon being off for the other team
And for a fact? Kaberle didn't jinx the bruins or gill on the pens or stalberg on the hawks. But ya it's a fact jack
