Why?

IMO he fits into the future plans.

The Hawks have been rumored to want him. I could see him going there and lighting it up in the playoffs for them like several of their 3rd liners have done in the past.

I like his game. Wasn't impressed last year, but he seems to have figured things out. Like the physicality with the offense he can provide on the 4th line. Perfect guy for that role going forward.
