Maybe a team needs a mobile Dman, maybe they trade for Benoit too. Maybe that is a reason he has been playing with Bogo to build up his value.

I'm more worried about the Coyotes than I have been, but they just played 13 of their last 18 games on the road. They have two more road games and then they play 9 out of 10 at home. They are tough teams, but if they even win 3 of 10 it will make it hard for Buffalo to catch them.

Thanks for looking that up. Good point, makes me feel a bit better.

I wonder what the homer and home vs the Sabres will look like? I mean at that point if the dominoes fall we should be (I stress should) pretty bad, but they also will have dealt some of their guys. It could be one of the worst view games of the decade

Those games could be huge. We may end up needing to lose both in regulation.

We don't need to trade him. Just don't play him every single (frank)ing game. Grigs and Ennis probs make this a non issue now though. Play Lindback a bit and we're golden.

Except now the Yotes are only 6 points ahead. Last week at this time they were 12.

Fans of the tank care, as we didn't get as nearly luck as one may think.

Yup! I feel fine.....
So wings in oven...couple minutes.... Sabres, altered states, Bourbon, an Amber beer, wife is gone for 4 days, my dog and my son....Priceless!

Wish this was the reincarnation of the '06 Season though...those were damn good times.
We MUST finish 30th else I'll consider this a colossal failure.

Ok, now we add in A little Widespread Panic!

Mr. Nolan there seems to be a NOTE on your desk................

The problem with NOLAN is that he is trying every trick, every scheme to pull out points in this season. Yes, this is the very job description of a NHL coach. What some are missing is that he supposed to be a teacher of young talent, instilling hard work ethics, learning to be professional, always give your all into our players! That is fine. But what isn't fine is not being "In-Step" with the broader, "Holistic" view of our organizational plan. Let the players play, but don't play a system of we won't try to skate with you because we can't so we'll just hunker down and hope our goalie can save three times the amount of pressure that your goalie endures. That is what will cost Mr. Ted Nolan his job if he continues with his, as NBC stated during the National Broadcast, "Look Coach Nolan tried to "sneak" Brian Gionta on the ice behind the defensemen with a borderline "against the intent of the rule" PLay is: Faceoff at center ice near our blueline. We have player X positioned and ready to immediately upon the face-off jump of the ice, already next to the boards trying to seem unnoticed, then Player Y or Gionta hopes on the ice but further down the bench BEHIND the other teams D-Men for a breakaway. SOUNDS CRAZY? IT WORKED FOR LATVIA and they scored one of the ONLY goals against the world's BEST team in the Olympics! The 2-1 score was the closest by a FAR MILE to any other team that CANADA trounced! Was that because LATVIA was anywhere near the team CANADA was? NO! Its because NOLAN played the Turtle game with ethically questionable "tricks". I was impressed but PLEASE spare me about how TED NOLAN doesn't understand the gravity of what is in play here. He knows exactly what the game is and he isn't marching with the SABRES plan. As Mr. Pegula said it best, "The Sole Reason for the Existence of the BUFFALO SABRES, from this point forward, is to WIN A STANLEY CUP!" That credo is mounted on the Wall inside the ARENA and DRESSING ROOM! We ALL MUST ROW together to follow our plan, if you're ego is too big to play an up-tempo style of game because our players aren't talented enough to compete with the other teams, then you are not rowing with the rest of us. Seems like we've been down this road before Mr. Nolan, in life we have and in our professions we have people above us that we answer to, Mr. Pegula will need to see you in his office as soon as possible.

I noticed this vs the Nashville game. I know the Preds looked tired, but the Sabs were playing some good ol 90's NJ Devils Neutral zone trap (to a degree) and once that third period hit the only offensive charges they had were wen the Preds gave them the opportunity. other than that, the played safe, which normally would be a good ideaas the more forwards you send into the offensive zone the less you have to block the defensive blueline and can lead to an odd man rush.

However, being the worst team in the NHL and having young talent to mold and teach how to play the game, I felt that was a missed opportunity to have them try and hone their ability against one of the best clubs.. Granted I want to lose, so this makes me angry, but even if we were say 25th, I'd still be unhappy.

I will say though that BOGO and Mccabe threw some nice hits and played the man rather well.

Well done on finding my meaning, I almost used the 90's DEVILS as an example!

And I agree that Bogosian, Pysk, have made a HUGE impact on this lineup! Murray must act.
