Eh, I never belived for a second that the NHL was not going to give Arizona the #1 pick regardless of where they finished, as long as it was in the bottom 4. Have a feeling they called and said "why are you 12 points out of last? Start making very questionable roster changes and lose terribly so we can at least justify giving you Mcdavid." Unless I watch them physically draw each ball out by hand and show the picture, I believe the yotes have em.

I'll take Eichel, but the way things are going it's not going to happen either. Tim Murry and Terry Peg, clearly don't realize how important getting one of these two guys is or else, we'd be doing what Arizona and the oliers are doing, which is patheic that people are frowning on the sabres "tank" when we're at least in most of these games. Oilers have loads of talent and they struggle and the yotes are just one step away from simply forfeiting each game as they're not even trying to pretend to try.

I'll laugh when we finish 29th and win the lottery. McDavid coming to Buffalo just makes sense. If its "rigged" as some think than we will get that 1st overall. Maybe just maybe the NHL had us lose it last year so we could win it this year. That way things wont look funny.

Arizona is way better than people here give them credit for. They routinely have 30+ shots a game and their Corsi percentage is 23rd. Their biggest problem is their goalie. If they had Neuvirth they'd be nowhere near the bottom.

Not with Nolan. This is his Frak you to Buffalo on his way out of coaching. It really isn't that hard to lose, but still let your guys play. As I said look at the yotes, you can always count on them giving up a couple quick goals, which almost assures their loss, then they can allow their guys play knowing they won't have enough to actually win
