Come on.. thats unnecessary. Risto zadorov and girgensons being in the lineup cant compare to a goalie making saves at a .950%+ rate.

It isnt going to take a 10-3 stretch, we could win one and steal a few loser points while edmonton loses two, win our game in hand and finish out the season with an equal record and BOOM say goodbye at our best shot to land a franchise talent.

People need to stop acting like its all locked up. Tons of hockey left to be played and to whoever said it, yes teams do get wins in the nhl regardless of talent which is why we need to LOSE.

2 more years at 5.5 mil, pretty good offensive numbers too. Why only flynn/hodgson/foligno and a 2nd?

Not sure how others feel, but Buffalo should strongly consider keeping Neuvirth. The guy is keeping the Sabres in games when they shouldn't be. A trade I don't think would muster much of a return, and he's still young.

We have just as much, if not more of an opportunity than other teams to sign Neuvirth when he's a FA, as well as, Enroth. If ANY deal, (7th round) (Pucks) is offered we take it. I would think Vancouver and Washington might have interest, its a very cheap, insurance policy for teams with one NHL tender to protect themselves come playoff time. I believe he will be moved along with Stewart, Mitchell, and one or both of Mez/Beniot

That 10 game run ruined it for us. Should been playing swiss cheese. Arizona will finish 30th. Will finish no lower than 28th. Not planning on McEichel. Murray will pick Strome. He raves about him.

I've been saying this all year, its just like fighting to make the playoffs, those early season loses to weak teams could cost you the playoffs, for us, ANY game against ANY opponent can cost us dearly for the next decade! Murray - Talk to Nolan or Fire him, I don't CARE how you do it, just do it!

You guys need new uniforms. Of all the teams that slaughtered theirs with the Reebok edge template, my GOD Colorado's is the worst. Aside from that perty 3rd.

I think the Rangers, with their current situation, are the perfect trade partners for Buffalo regarding Neuvirth. Buffalo can keep half his salary, which helps the Rangers make another trade if they want to, plus he is a UFA after this season.

With Henrik out and his status up in the air, Neuvirth would do well there as their starter at a minimal cost, and Buffalo could sign him in the offseason.

Wow, I check icethetics all the time and missed that one. Its probably one of the best concepts I have seen, for any team.

But! Colorado Avalanche and Colorado Rockies are 2 separate (or...6) franchises. So I don't see the current Denver team doing it from a marketing standpoint unless its a one-off like the Stadium series. And forget about a Nordiques inspired design.

One thing though, I think they should keep black in as the third color on their uniforms. Always liked the contrast with the Maroon.

We would be basically giving them a proven NHL Goalie, and they could use the insurance. Their window of winning the Cup with Ovi is not going to last forever!

They already know him and he knows their system. I'm not saying they NEED him but for the cost its worth the insurance.
