I wasn't going to give that guy a break on anything borderline that I might have let slide with a player who had gained acceptability with me.
How is that not being biased?
And mind you, I'm not blaming Stewart on this, Refs are humans and players should know their relationships with them can have an impact.

He wasn't being biased against him. He was calling it as he saw it. Other guys may have gotten breaks, but he is saying he was fair with Lindros, just not kind to him. |
