Galchenyuk, as a left winger, and Pleck have been there for a while. They should bring back Weise in the top six, unless the new comer end up there. Wich I can't see, short term. |

You know what I find interesting about that trade?
2 teams sitting at the top of the league dealing with each other, instead of overpaying from "sellers". |

Some day soon a switch is going to flip, and he'll be the most dominant player on the ice. - ehabs9
Once he understands he can't do it all by himself and starts distributing the puck, he'll be a much better player.
I remember reading a story on him and Boedker about their youth hockey in Denmark. Their coach couldn't play them together because they wouldn't pass the puck to each other. They didn't want the other to score more.
Bergevin said in an interview with Ron Fournier at the beginning of the year that he told Eller that he was not a talented player who could play a strong, physical game, but rather a physically strong player with some talent. Looks like the message hasn't been received by L'Harceleur.

a rare hockey trade...
two teams addressing somewhat of a need and trading players who are roughly equivalent in terms of the ice time they can log. |
