I know the situation is far from being ideal and the Habs are better off with Gonchar in the lineup.

But it's nice to see 5 out of 6 defensemen playing drafted/developed by the organization.

We've seen Pateryn for a couple games this year. I don't think that's enough to make a conclusion like that on him.
