Nazem Kadri was pretty much a PPG player during the shortened season. Tlusty on pace for 40 goals. The nice thing about a shortened season is that one hot/cold streak basically can define the whole thing. Sam freaking Gagner was on pace for a 70 point year.

Ok since there's a bunch of you who like to post stats to back up their say.

Eller had a 28 pts season playing 79 games in 2011-2012. During the shortened season in 2012-2013 he had 30 pts in 46 games. That was when MT came in fresh, the kid has been poop ever since (except in the playoffs). Get me a motivator like the Tampa coach and I bet you my left nut you will eat your words.

- J-P

Ok so he was good during the first season MT was there BUT it's still MT's fault he's blowing right now.

If he needs a babysitter at 26, ship him the (frank) out.

Eller's already got $3.5 million reasons to be motivated. He should STFU and start producing.

We came close to giving up on Des Hargnais too until Patches took him under his wing. If you want a coach that can shuffle lines endlessly I'll code an iPhone app.

Why do you say this in the past tense? Who really "stopped" wanting to ship out DD?

He was fresh, hadn't had the time to (frank) with anyone. If you're expecting a team full of patches good luck it's not happening.

There will be more pieces obviously though.

Bergevin wants kessel. He's 27 years old one of the best scorers in the game. He's a superstar and the Habs cant score. Now it gets tricky because the leafs want Galchenyuk. Now that's laughable for Bergevin and crew. So they said ok well if we're giving up our next #1 center we want a potential elite one back. That's why his crew has been following the Marlies for two weeks and Bergevin made the apparance once himself. To make sure they are making the right move they wanna see Nylander in person.

The deal is on the table right now but shanahan and Bergevin are discission prospects that the Habs have to add. Plus salary dumps to accommodate kessel.

My source says today could be the day

They pretty much all need motivation.

Take a guy like Babs, constantly talking to his players, assistants, looks like he motivating to me.

He not standing there holding his god damn chin, like it's about to fall off.

I'll give Desharnais credit, when he was demoted he worked hard and got himself back up with Pacioretty. I think the expectations that Eller would be a Pleks replacement some day were too much. Sadly, Eller just doesn't have the mental capacity.
