I think those guys have already reached their ceilings in the NHL.
I really liked Bournival when he came in, but he hasn't really improved...and in some areas, he's even regressed. That's unfortunate 'cos he seems like a good kid.
A bit like Dumont...a few years back he came in and did ok...and in the words of DT, it's been caca ever since. - TouenneTiiTree
He (Bourn)played exactly like DLR played when he first came in... quick, good on the forecheck and responsible defensively creating turnovers here and there.
Thomas is just meh since he got traded for Kristo |

Not sure what more you should expect really. Kristo has yet to play in the NHL. It was a prospect for prospect trade. |

I'm not expecting anything more out of Bournival.
I'd keep Bourn over Thomas.
At least Bourn when playing on top of his game can actually "contribute" in the bottom 6 defensively. |

hopefully he follows the same curve as Beaulieu, but it seems like playing with Gonchar was the last piece of the puzzle for him. who is Tinordi playing with? he's dangerously close to becoming Ryan O'Byrne. |

Sportsnet guys cursed the team before the game even started by referring to Therrien's "healthy season to date". It took all of 20 seconds before that healthy season disappeared. |

i would keep Thomas because of the offensive potential. especially with De La Rose here. |

Yeah, but our pile of crap has played a few games and even somehow managed to score a meaningless goal. |

Thomas doesn't have Offensive potential.
Bournival is a 4th liner that could one day be a regular PK player |

Agreed. Thomas can score. Bournival have 1000 clones in the AHL. |

I guess it depends on what you want Tinordi to become.
If you prefer him to be a defensive defenseman, I'd say pair him with Weaver. Yeah, it would be sort of like Schwarzenegger and DeVito in Twins, but I'd bet Weaver could teach him some things. Is Weaver Tinordi's Yoda? No, but it's a start I think. |

i find him higher skilled so i would keep in on the offchance that he does surprise. Bournival is what he is... dime a dozen player. to be honest i think they're both pretty much useless moving forward. |

all i want Tinordi to become is a competent 15-17 minute player who can do 2 things:
A) skate and move the puck well enough so that he's no hemmed in his zone for 15 minutes every night
B) swing his stick into the face of anyone who so much as looks in Price's general direction |

no man re-post - DoubleDown
ok but I gotta warn you man, it's (frank)ed up.
guys the absolute worst stat to the day:
I stepped in a snow bank on the way in and got a ton of snow in both boots.
today I actually have to be in the office so I can't work from home.
no problem, I thought because I usually keep a spare roll of socks at work. I guess I used the already becaue they're not here, socks are drenched.
so I had to turn the heater up in my office which sucks because I usually keep it freezing to dry my socks and now I'm wearing suede loafers with no socks and I have someone coming in at 10 and I can't (frank)ing stand him.
to add to this the kids drove me crazy this morning and I think I didn't close the garage door when I left.

still have the chills just thinking about it |
