We have 2 cats and I would trade them both for a dog in a second but we live in a condo and a dog needs a yard.
- CubanBuffet

Not true.... they need regular exercise. Which a large dog doesn't even get from a yard. They need a park or walks regularly. I live in a condo with a 6 yr old 75 lb American Staffy that grew up as a puppy here.... She is in great shape but she goes to the park multiple times a week. The only thing that sucks is taking out to go pee, and that is only because I am lazy and a yard would be nice

Edit. My condo also has it's own green belt for walks and a small park

I don't doubt that he will be given a shot next camp regardless of who's back, but this is my worry. I would rather the Canucks make sure the young guns have the muscle to play against the heavy teams in the west. There are lists of good prospects that didn't turn out because they physically weren't ready for the NHL grind
- WhiteLie

I've never seen a prospect have his career derailed because he was missing mussel. Those guys didn't have a solid 2 way game. See all of edms players

Happened up North not that long ago where the owner died and the dogs ate him/her.

PS I am a dog Person so not dissing. (American Staffy) I Hate cats, Snobby little things that do me no good.... my dog is cuddlier and likes to play fetch and swim and tug a war. Really what does a cat do.

My dogs need daily exercise and we don't walk them. A yard gives a dog exercise if the dog isn't lazy

I disagree. When I first got my dog, I lived in an apartment in Downtown Vancouver. Now I live in a condo on White Beach. A dog doesn't need a yard; it just needs an owner that is willing to exercise them properly. Rain or Shine. Trust me, I have a Hungarian Vizsla which is one of them most energetic dogs out there.

I have seen many dogs with yards that are fat haha... I have several friends with dogs like this. No walks or dog parks and a yard. I guess it is better then no yard

Yes, he was very mediocre last season and surprise surprise he has come on late as he is a pending UFA. See you later Mattias. Or as Burke would say, I'll drive him to the airport.

Contract year motivation is my worry as well so I'd probably do it.

I find this only happens with selfish players. He doesn't strike me as the type.

Mine is fat and old both of us have gotten lazy this winter. I don't get him out enough he is still happy and well taken care of. We got him when we were poor had no kids and lived in an apt. He always got his walks and it really wasn't hard to do. Still does but not as frequent this winter as I work out of town and the wife was full on pregnant until last week.

My next dog is going to be a Karelein Bear dog. If I could ever find a breeder that has a pup available.

I don't know, apparently in Florida he wasn't happy when he was demoted to the 4th for not producing and apparently it showed in his play. If Benning thinks he'll get the same player he has so far this year then I definitely have no issues with 2.5M per.

To much inbreeding, it's the same with Irish Setters and Collies.
