With comeau back i dont see why mj has not bumped up horny and dropped Kunitz. The PP is absolutely gross. TOCCHET should b downies life coach n nothing more. Someone yesterday said sutter is much better then a hole bunch of ppl and he included kuznetsov. ....that was before the game. Besides Calgary sid has not dominated or been consistently awesome in a while i hope its not a wrist.

Rutherford said hes more likely to add a top 9 forward then a defenseman. Not necessarily a rental

we need to get a combination of the biggest and best of what is available, winnik is a thought, but theres gotta be more, we need someone like wilson from the caps honestly...glencross maybe but hes older and slower, i know his names been tossed around in years past...we need not only someone who can fight anyone, but someone who can play hockey as well

but then again, every team wants/needs that especially come playoff time...

I would love a Wilson type player.. but there are none available with his skillset. Also, we don't need someone who can fight. Just someone who is relentless on the puck and has the ability to play hockey. Someone with that Perron/Hornqvist mentality to go to the dirty areas while still having some good hands.

its gotta be more than that, i mean hornquist and perron arent getting it done, they havent been bad, but they havent made a big difference in the last handful of games, when the going gets tough im not sure those 2 are the ones to change the game physically, and thats what we need

but yes, there are none available...

Wilson is the type of player we have been missing for years. There are two Wilson types in every draft it seems. The problem is they are gone by the time we make our first pick in the fourth round.

Yup, and by the sounds of a top 9 forward it seems we will probably be shipping out or second or a prospect, further continuing the cycle.

exactly because we have few assets when you really get down to it that you can afford to move that have value.

when your biggest trade value asset thats is a realistic moveable player is bennet and sutter, yep we have very little assets, Im not sure theres a single player on the baby pens thats worth much besides dumo and harrington

id give it a go, change of scenery could help, ive suggested him before but hes known to have a bad attitude and show little heart/effort in the past, but its still better than sill or adams

it would be difficult putting forth your best effort knowing game in and out you are playing for the worst team in the league with 0 chance of making the playoffs, why put your body through that every game knowing its for nothing, well besides self pride and that your a professional, hahaha

he wasnt terrible by any means, but he isnt big enough to be a physical threat, i liked his line with farnahm and spaling or sill or whoever centered them though i agree, at least they had some energy...

I liked when Kasper was doing it to Lemeiux
- Cptmjl

True dat. Kasper was skating around that entire series with Lemieux's and Jagr's nads dangling from his helmet.

He has already had the change of scenery move twice and it has failed. Poor work ethic, bad attitude and no heart aren't good qualities to have in a player. This is a pass.

Scuderi has more value than Chris Stewart does. That should tell you all you need to know about how bad Stewart is. At least Scuds plays with a work ethic and heart. Stewart, not so much.

He just got hurt in practice according to Molinari's twitter account. Despres isn't on the ice either.

He's back on the ice. Even if he went down, we don't save nearly enough as there is only 2 weeks that he will be on it.

I'm half serious....he did just go down at your practice and have to get helped off the ice putting no weight on one leg.

Please warm up your hands, if possible. It's chilly out.
