LOL ---- that would rock! Didn't the linesman skate up to the downed fighter and just sort of drag him in that downed position to the box... that too would rock.

Yep, if I remember correctly play just continued on.

I'm the opposite, it's the new sports games that I can't stand.
- CubanBuffet

Well I don't really play new sports games. They're pretty awful

LOL Me too but on NHL 98 for the computer. There was a secret in the game where you could fight the ref under certain conditions.... classic.

I played The Last of Us recently and it was pretty dope, but other then that I tend to get bored with them pretty quick. I'll take a good book any day.

"Blades of Steel" (swhwing. swhwing)

"It's a pass."
"It's a pass."
"It's a pass."
"It's a pass."
"It's a pass."
"It's a pass."
"It's a pass."
"It's a pass."
"It's a pass."
"It's a pass."
"It's a pass."

"Fight" (whistles and cheers)

"It's a pass."

"It's a pass."
"It's a pass."

Goal (Crowd noise sounding like static followed by identical whistles from the fight)

Loved how the player that lost the fight was the only one that went to the penalty box. I think the NHL should adopt that rule.
- PetrolSexual

I don't know how many hours I sunk into that game as a kid or during drunken nights in college and I never did figure out how fighting worked.

I must of missed that one. RBI baseball got a lot of play time. It was all about the sidearm pitchers.

Hey nuck fans. Dont shoot me. Im a Leaf fan in Vancouver, and i was thinking of a trade scenario that could help both teams. You guys will probably hate tgis because my trade offer involves players that are Leafs and you hate Leafs, but hear me out.

To Van:
JVR
Gardiner
-
Reason: JVR is the absolute perfect compliment of skill, speed and size for the Sedins. Insane hand eye, and hands in tight. Uses his wheels a little more and hes a superstar imo. Gardiner is the perfect solution for your powerplay point with wonderful creativity and untapped potential as a qb.
-
To Tor:
Horvat
Sbisa
Kassian
1st.
-
Leafs receive a wonderful young center to eventually play shutdown minutes and contribute offense. Kassian returns home in hopes of discovering his potential. Sbisa improves our blueline defensively, ans the 1st allows us the opportunity to stockpile draft picks and potentially move up in the draft.
-
Am i totally out to lunch? I think its a pretty even trade. I know you guys adore Horvat though, i dont blame ya.

If you live in Vancouver then you must know that the Canucks are trying to get younger on the fly. Trading a very promising rookie centre and a first round pick in a deep draft is not a very good way to do that.

Although I apreciate that you were trying to make a legitimate trade proposal there is now way the Canucks would ever make thT trade. Horvat is untouchable at this point and we won't move a 1st. You are overvaluing your players. I don't mind JVR though, would be a nice fit.

I like both those players, but how about:

To Van JVR, Gardiner, Leaf's 1st, Reimer (cap dump)

To TO Kassian, Jensen, Markstrom, Bieksa

Wow, value wise that's like a mirror image of what he proposed. Well done.
