If we are trading two of our biggest guys I hope we are getting a true second liner and not Vermette

They play bigger than anyone else on the team. When they have the puck quite often they make power moves

would Philly entertain Bonino and Kassian for B. Schenn and a 2nd/3rd round pick?

*edit* if the trade was offered on a Tuesday of course....

They both seem to let in that one bad goal every now and then. Both are solid goalies. We should be pretty happy with our goaltending situation right meow. Lack or Miller will have to get hurt or traded before that happens.

Lack seems to let in a bad goal/game, while Miller seems to let in 5 bad goals one game/5 games

To me , if you are getting the same goaltending from both goalies it only make sense to you with the younger cheaper.

thats a hard no.... they can have Sbisa back...

I wonder if Matt Read would be a decent target from Phi, he is having a tough year but has scored 20+ twice. His contract is a bit steep but I would be happier with him in the top 6 than Higgins.

If Miller is pissed then he needs to either give the team a better chance to win on a consistent basis or run along.

Yup, and check out Miller's career save percentage, he's not exactly underperforming big time so I don't expect a huge turnaround. Even if Markstrom is .910 save percentage goalie, the millions we could have used to sign another dman or scorer would have made this a better team.

Sounds more like speculation, highly doubt he called up Miller last night...

He is a forward......but ya isn't huge at 5' 10" but he is a good player and could add some offensive spark without costing too much perhaps.

To me , I am not looking for rentals. I don't mind hockey trades that will help us for the future, but if it is just tinkering , then I rather keep the guy here already

B. Schenn is the only realistic piece I would want out of philly... Cotourier (sp?) would be nice too but would cost too much.

The secret: playing with Horvat the entire time.

He looks like a linemate-elevator. Got the speed, skills and hockey instincts to really find himself/his linemates in favourable situations to take advantage of good opportunities. Also would explain the ridiculous shooting %

Kyprios is doing his job, spreading poop around.

But about Miller...He will get one of the starts in NY. But if he sucks, expect Lack to get more starts this month
